If you haven’t heard the buzz about the concept shopping store created as the backdrop for the Chanel Fall-Winter-Ready-to-Wear collection shown in Paris this week head on over to Chanel.com. See the show, hear Karl Lagerfeld talk about the collection and more. Maybe he was inspired by Andy Warhol who once said, ‘You need to let the little things that would ordinarily bore you suddenly thrill you.’  Either way we love the ‘coco pops’. this week’s color palette: pastel pinks & golds

This fall’s trend in coats is pastels, like this pink coat from Rochas. Together with gold this is a great color palette for celebrations, weddings and even rooms that you’d like to feel warm. If you aren’t keen on painting your walls pink, pink can come in the way of accessories like pillows and your walls can be a color like Benjamin Moore’s Ivory Tusk. Liz Glasgow, daughter of fashion illustrator Hilda Glasgow was admiring her mother’s illustrations one day. After her mothers passing at age 91, Liz kept the illustrations all together in a white cabinet which she had moved to her Long Island home. this week’s color palette: orange and red with gold, pink and green accents

This week’s color palette is inspired by a ‘street style’ photo from Elle. Orange and red, being wonderful warm colors can look beautiful with gold accessories, like you see here with the model’s jewelry.
