Throughout the beach house I used Benjamin Moore’s, Blue Note, Westcott Navy, Seafoam, Ice Mist, Ocean Air, Gossamer Blue, Jamestown Blue, Rendezvous Bay and Calypso Blue.
The formal dining/living/family room is painted in blue note- it’s warm and cozy and the black flat screen tv disappears against it. You almost feel like you are in a movie theatre. The casual breakfast room is painted in decorator’s white but the painter dropped about 2 drops of blue note into the white to make a beautiful blue gray. The hallways are painted in sea foam. The kitchen and butler’s pantry are a combination of blue note, sea foam with a touch of green in it and white.
All the upstairs hallway doors are painted in westcott navy- it’s much brighter than blue note and is a crisp, classic navy- the front door is painted in jamestown blue.
Ice mist is in the entranceway and I painted the dining room table and buffet cabinet in ice mist. We painted the dining room chairs in ocean air and painted a corner cabinet in gossamer blue 2123-40. See photos of before and after below.
I mixed these two together for the study and used the extra paint for the inside of the walk-in hall closet (closets don’t have to be white!).
