A few weeks ago I wrote about the color palette of my beach house- which is all blues and whites. So needless to say decorating for Christmas in blues, silver and white is a favorite color palette of mine. Whether you have a real tree or a faux tree this palette is soothing and wintery and can go country or city chic. I have a faux white Christmas tree that I love to decorate in blue and silver, but we also get a real tree too every year and decorate that in our heirloom wooden and traditional ornaments.  I’ve been having a lot of fun shopping on Etsy.com for both vintage and new christmas decorations. Below is a photo of a vintage glass mercury Christmas tree topper, similar to the one in our inspiration photo above. It’ from etsy shop “1rustyrabbit” for $10! I also found these beautiful cut paper snowflakes on etsy shop “ccartsy”. There are literally thousands of ornaments and decorations to choose!
