She makes her “mums” family recipes, mostly baked goods like these cookies. I took a rare morning off today and I went on a field trip with my daughters. We went apple picking at the Milk Pail in Watermill, NY. It’s a 13th generation family run farm by the Halsey family. Nestled near Mecox Bay and the ocean it’s a beautiful farm complete with a stand in the middle of the fields complete with coffee, cider, donuts, fruit and more.
